About Red George:

Red George Rural Skills Project provides individual tailor made programmes of farming related activities for young people aged 12 - 18 yrs old.

Learning takes place in a practical and secure  environment outside of the traditional classroom setting.

Young people have the opportunity to learn about caring for different animals, practical land management skills, tractor maintenance and driving skills.

All students achieve in house certificates of achievement and ASDAN accredited awards. Young people who have successfully completed the ASDAN Award in Tractor maintenance and driving skills also have the potential to be submitted by Red George for the DVLA tractor driving test.
Red George has supported young people this year in successfully achieving their Tractor Driving test and they are now able to legally drive tractors on the road at the age of 16.

In addition to achieving qualifications, young people also learn valuable social, work and life skills.
