There are a variety of animals that the young people look after at the  Red George Project, including: Kune Kune pigs, goats, chickens, rheas, bulldogs, a snowy owl and a Harris Hawk

Young people learn about preparing housing for the animals, preparing and giving feed, health care, keeping the animals clean, grooming, creating a suitable environment which is both safe and enjoyable for the animals, how to handle and interact with the animals and much more..........
